Substrate for CYP 3A4 but due to the high skin selectivity the systemic exposure and the hepatic load are insignificant.

Chemical description

Lipohilic ascomycinmacrolactam derivative with dermal antiinflammatory action Used in atopic dermatitis applied to the skin as creme 1%. Very high skin selectively, blood concentration less than 1 ng/mL. No metabolism observed.
