Rationale
Synthetic prostaglandin administered in ug dose.
Chemical description
Synthetic 15-metyl prostaglandin F2 alpha with a structure very like the naturally occuring. Stimulates uterus contractions, used for abortion in the second trimester. One or occasionally twice 0.25 - 0,40 mg is given in intramuscular injection. Metabolized by beta- oxidation.
