Probably not significantly metabolised. No data pointing to CYP-interaction. One reference: use with caution.
Chemical description
Betalactamase stable antibiotic of cephalosporine type used in urinary tract infections, exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and in acute sinusitis, otitis media and pharyngotonsillitis where penicillins are ineffective. Metabolized only to a small extent, excreted by the kidneys in unchanged form. No indications for CYP-interaction. South African list: use with caution.
