Chemical description
Tabl, supp, 7-15 mg/d. Analgetic, antipyretic och anti-inflammatory inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis used in osteoarthrosis. Oxicam derivative, extensively metabolized by hydroxylation by CYP 2C9 (major reaction) and 3A4 (minor reaction). Inhibitor of CYP 2C9. South African list: use with care
