Antiemetic and sedative low-dose phentiazine derivative. High first passage metabolism. Probably metabolized by CYP 2D6. No data pointing to CYP-induction. Frequently used (Sweden) during acute porphyric crises without adverse effects.

Uneventful use reported in 1 patient with acute porphyria.
