Chemical description
Benzodiazepine anxiolytic ( 0,25- 3 mg /d).Metabolized by CYP 3A4. No CYP-inducing effects observed. MFM James, RJ Hift. Porphyrias. Br J Anaesth 2000; 85, 143-53: use with care (benzodiazepines). Australian list; unsafe South African list: use with care French list: avoid, known to have precipitated an acute attack Andersson, patient inquiry: used without illeffects (n=1).
