Rationale
Probably only insignificant CYP-metabolism. Weak CYP-inducer in vitro.
Chemical description
Narcotic psychostimulant used in treatment of narcolepsy. In vitro data demonstrate that modafinil is not metabolized to any large extent by CYPs. Inducer in vitro of CYPs 1A2, 2B6 and 3A4 in the liver. Inhibitor in vitro of CYPs 2C9 and 2C19.
