Chemical description
Inhibitor of gastrointestinal lipase used in attempts at weight reduction.Given perorally in a dose of 360 mg/d .Metabolized in the gastrointestinal wall, producing two metabolites. Only insignificant absorbtion, plasma concentration < 10 ng/mL.
