Insignificant hepatic exposure.
Chemical description
Eyedrops for treatment of glaucoma. Prostaglandin F2 alpha analogue, meablized in the same way as the endogenous prostaglandin by reduction of the 13-14 double bond, oxidation od the 15-hydroxyl group and beta-oxidative breaking of the upper side chain. Low systemic exposure of the free acid, plasma concentration < 25 pg/ml.
