No data on metabolism, but probably only insignificant systemic exposure.
Chemical description
Used in eye drops 0,5 mg/mL as mydriatic and cycloplegic in in ophtalmologic praxis. Two drops (i.e. about 50 µg) is administered 20 - 25 minutes prior to ophtalmoscopy. May give rise to cholinergic systemic effects. No data on metabolism.
